Our Volunteer Opportunities
CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Uxbridge-Scott Historical Society was formed as a group of concerned citizens who wanted to ensure that the history of the Uxbridge Township was not lost and the memory of the past was maintained. In 1971, they founded the Museum and it has grown to it’s current status. The Society’s mandate has expanded to support the Museum from both a fundraising and volunteer basis.
We support the Museum Curator to help with the functions of the Museusm – from physical operations to administrative. As a result, there are numerous types of roles for all people from high school students looking for volunteer hours to retired people wanting to stay active.
